This instructor-led course will enable participants to more effectively deliver messages to leaders. At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

        • Assess the level of leader with whom feedback should be provided
        • Identify information relevant to share with the leader
        • Understand the difference between sharing feedback with leaders vs peer 
        • Gain practice delivering feedback to a “leader”


This course will give you guidelines for providing input, both positive and areas for improvement, to a peer.

At the end of this training, participants will:

- Become familiar with the RISE (Reflect, Inquire, Suggest, Elevate) model for giving feedback
- Gain hands-on experience practicing giving and receiving feedback with the RISE model


This course addresses the role of "mentor" and "mentee", the qualities associated with each and tips for being an effective mentor.  


At the end of this training, participants will:

- Recognize qualities of a mentor and the value of those qualities, especially listening
- Explore the importance of building a relationship when mentoring
- Differentiate between mentoring and coaching
- Explore how to define goals for the mentoring relationship
- Understand the role of mentor and how to work with a mentee

The CFT Deep Dive Mentoring program will enable CFTs to further develop skills to be successful in the CFT role.  These skills will be used throughout their careers, as they coach, mentor, and train other team members in various capacities.  

Three activities must be successfully completed during the Mentoring program:

        1. Confirmation that the Operations Trainer matched the CFT with a mentor.
        2. The CFT completes the CFT Deep Dive 3 Month Survey.
        3. The CFT completes the CFT Deep Dive 6 Month Survey

The CFT Deep Dive Class is the final learning event in CFT Continuing Education.  It provides CFTs the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the CFT Program.  

During the class, CFTs will demonstrate key behaviors necessary to perform as a CFT.  They will also identify opportunities to include in a personal development plan, which will be the focus of the ongoing six (6) month mentoring.


This instructor-led course is an introduction to motivating team members, establishing relationships, gaining mutual trust and respect in order to help improve team dynamics.  

At the end of of the course the team member should be able to:

      • How to motivate others in their position
      • How to recognize their efforts and contributions
      • How important first impressions are
      • How to build rapport in a limited time and interactions
      • Ways to earn trust over time

This course provides CFTs an overview of the basic concepts important for effective communication. At the end of this course, participants will learn about the communication process, different types of communication and elements of each type, techniques for ensuring understanding, and the importance of listening when communicating.
